Dear Parents,
Madrasah Holidays and Re-Opening
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
We pray that you are in the best of health and Iman.
We would firstly like to thank you for your support during the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. We understand that it has been a challenging time for pupils and parents as it has been for our madrasah.
Over the past 5-6 weeks we have tried our level best to maintain a link between our pupils and the Madrasah and provide a basic level of learning during the summer holiday period. As you know, governmental guidance for the return of children to educational settings is detailed and requires time and resources to implement in order to ensure a safe return for all concerned.
With this in mind, Insha Allah the last day of remote learning for madrassah will be Friday the 28th of August. We aim to resume lessons and start the new academic year from Monday the 14th of September.
The madrassah will initially resume remotely on Monday the 14th of September, with a view to resume onsite lessons at the end of September. This will allow us to undertake the required health and safety measures and works prior to re-opening onsite.
In terms of remote lessons, we are making every effort to have in place daily lessons (weekdays) for all pupils. We will update parents on the arrangements and other necessary measures in due course.
Please note that due to the changing nature of the pandemic, these are provisional measures and are subject to change.
Finally, we request all parents to provide their contact email address if not already provided, for ease of communication. You can do so by emailing info@jamia.co.uk.
Similarly, please kindly keep us updated on any changes to your contact phone number and address.
We thank you again and pray that we all remain safe and well.
Kindly keep the Jamia in your duas.
JazakAllahu Khayran
Wassalam
